The CS Group’s business is organized around the design of technical architectures for information systems and networks, software development and integration, project management and deployment of industrial, scientific and technical applications. CS operates mainly in the Defense and Security, Space, Aeronautics and Energy sectors. The company generates sales of close to 200 MEUR and employs 2000 people worldwide.
The CS Group is today on a growth path and plans to carry out several acquisitions in the coming years. This new momentum is reflected in the launch of the Ambition 2021 plan presented by CS when it published its 2017 annual results on April 3, and the finalization at the end of June of its first acquisition in the cybersecurity sector with the purchase of Novidy’s.
The implementation of S/4Hana, combined with OpenText dematerialization and EDM solutions, will provide CS with a harmonized, high-performance information system for the gradual integration of group entities and companies in the process of being acquired. S/4Hana, scheduled for operational implementation in February 2019, will also enable CS to improve operational management and optimize performance;

This essential step enabled us to take a step back and assess the ability of a few other solutions on the market to support CS in an essential ERP upgrade.
The question was to assess whether the overhaul, mutualization and simplification of operational and administrative processes would create value and productivity over the duration of a project of this nature.
The SAP S/4 HANA solution appeared by far the most efficient and reassuring to support us in the realization of the “Ambition 2021 plan”.
