Why this indicator ?
By 1 March 2020, all french companies with more than 50 employees have a legal obligation to publish the gender equality index.
How is it calculated ?
In the form of a score out of 100, the gender equality index assesses the company's commitment to equal pay.
Several criteria are added together to calculate the index: the pay gap, the number of pay rises awarded to men and women, the non-discrimination in pay for women returning from maternity leave and the number of women in the highest paid positions in the company.
In 2020, Applium had an index of less than 75 out of 100 compared to an index of 76 in 2019. Faced with this unsatisfactory result, the company's management (co-led by a woman) has implemented corrective actions (recruitment, training, rehiring, etc.) in order to improve the Egapro index from 2021.
We are pleased to be able to say that these actions have been conclusive, with a greatly improved 2021 Index: 89 out of 100.
We wish to continue this dynamic and aim for an even higher score in 2022.
